The City of Orem understands many area residents are struggling to pay for their housing and utilities and meet basic needs due to job loss and other effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We as a City want to make sure you have the needed information and resources to help you weather the current storm. - Mountainland is offering a Dealing with Dementia online training for caregivers on February 20. Click here for more info.
- Mountainland is also offering a Bereavement Support Group every Wednesday through March. Click here.
- Need Help with Taxes? Click here for free assistance.
- Rent and Utility Assistance Available through the United Way. Call 211 or visit their website.
- Community Action is providing help with rent! Community Action has several programs that may be the right fit for you. Click here to fill out the details and be matched with a case manager.
- The Utah County Health Department website provides updates regarding the COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Click here.
- Free help for those at high risk of complications from COVID-19: If you have a chronic condition that affects your heart, lungs or immune system, you should be under a more strict quarantine. But free help is available for delivering your groceries, getting you to medical appointments, and more! Call 877-424-4640 to find help near you.
- DO YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR UTILITY BILLS? The HEAT Program helps low-income individuals and families by providing one-time utility assistance each year. - Caring Connections offers free virtual support groups for those affected by COVID-19. Click here.

- Centro Hispano is offering evening prep classes for the citizen/naturalization exam. Cost is $45 a person for a 7-week course. Visit their website for more information.
