They also contribute to community events like Oremfest and National Night Out Against Crime, offering discounted haircuts and fostering community spirit. The barbers at The Fellas Chop Shop not only excel in hairstyling but also in enhancing the overall well-being of the community. HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT BUSINESS AWARD

Founded by Mac Christensen and Steve Winn in the late 1970s and located in the University Place Mall, Mr. Mac has been a symbol of style and sophistication for nearly five decades. Known for its high-quality men’s wear and distinguished dress clothing, the store serves a diverse clientele, including missionaries and visitors from all over the world. After Mac’s retirement, Steve Winn took sole ownership and, with the help of longtime store manager Dave Haden, built a reputation for outstanding customer service. Since Steve’s retirement in 2019, his sons, Jason and Tyler, have continued the legacy. Mr. Mac is also actively involved in supporting local organizations and has a unique tradition called the “Mr. Mac Challenge” that highlights their customer-centric approach. We honor Mr. Mac with this award, recognizing its rich history, commitment to community service, business excellence, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Congratulations to Mr. Mac on this well-deserved honor!
