Orem’s own American Legion Post 72 presented the Mayor and City Council with a donation of $4,000 for the new Freedom Plaza and Gold Star Family Monument.
This group of veterans in our local chapter of the American Legion have dedicated their lives to the service of our country and community. They are constantly leading out on great projects to make Orem a better place. We thank and honor them for their service, both past and present.
Commander Rodney Gardner made note that this generous gift was made possible by the many contributions Post 72 has received over the past several years, especially from proceeds from the annual Auto Show hosted by Walker Sanderson Mortuary.
