NO SPOT-SAVING UNTIL THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE PARADE AT 8AM.
In 2019, the “spot saving” for the parade took a wild turn. While we have always had people save spots, 2019 was the first year we had anyone surpass the 7-day mark.
We were forced to remove blankets and stakes in order to mow the lawn. With that in mind, we now strictly enforce a rule that prevents people from putting blankets, stakes, or any other method of saving spots until the Friday morning before the parade.
Articles will be removed at owner’s expense. The City is not responsible for damaged or lost property after it is removed.
