The Orem Special Enforcement Team (Orem S.E.T) works to identify those involved in continual criminal activity with an emphasis on the use and distribution of illegal narcotics. By establishing a working relationship with the community as well as federal, state, and local law enforcement, Orem S.E.T detectives are able to investigate and target those who commit criminal acts in order to further the illegal drug trade. Criminal activity such as assaults, theft, identity theft, fraud, burglary, and forgery have a higher propensity to be committed by those involved with the use and distribution of illegal narcotics. It is the goal of Orem S.E.T to mitigate crime within the City of Orem by deterring those involved in the use and distribution of illegal narcotics.
