Orem Parks Map

The City Council adopted the City of Orem Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Space Master Plan on June 27, 2017. During the planning process, a needs analysis was conducted and gave direction for the effective and equitable planning for parks, recreation and trails development during the a 10-year planning horizon and beyond. The plan analyzes and assesses the full range of facilities required to meet future needs, and presents goals, objectives and policies that reflect the City’s commitment to improving the quality of life for residents.   • Bonneville Park

    Bonneville Park

    Location: 1450 N 800 W

    About the Park

    Bonneville Park is a large park in Northwest Orem that offers lots of recreational opportunities including basketball, soccer, a playground, a walking path and much more. Patrons can take it easy on one of the many benches or under one of the many mature trees throughout the park.

  • Cascade Park

    Cascade Park

    About the Park

    The playground at Cascade Park was recently replaced with a brand new 2 story climbing structure as well as a zip line. The park also has lots of availability for team sports such as baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. This is also a great place to watch the Summerfest fireworks.

    Location: 1200 N 800 E

    About the Park

    The lower cemetery field is a wide open space for residents to enjoy soccer, outdoor games, kite flying, remote control airplanes, picnics and more. Someday, the land will be needed to expand the cemetery, but for now it’s a great place to play.

  • Cherryhill Park

    Cherryhill Park

    About the Park

    Cherryhill Park is a nice blend of tree-covered land and open play space. The playground and pavilion are shaded by mature trees.

  • City Center Park

    City Center Park

    Location: Center Street & 300 E

    About the Park

    City Center Park is one of the most versatile parks in the city. It is home to the annual Summerfest celebration as well as Utah County’s only all-abilities playground, The All-Together Playground. Concerts and other cultural performances are held at the City Center Stage within the park. The park also has 6 baseball fields, huge pavilions, a football/soccer field, as well as a huge collection of different types of trees from all over the world. This is definitely one of the gems of the Orem parks system.

  • Community Park

    Community Park

    Location: 581 W 165 S

    About the Park

    Just right across the way from the Orem Fitness Center and Mountain View High School, Community Park is a very large park with lots to offer residents. It has 5 baseball fields, 10 tennis courts, and plenty of open space for soccer, football, and outdoor games.

    About the Park

    Located in one of Orem’s most beautiful neighborhoods, Foothill Park gives residents a great view of Mt. Timpanogos. It has a large playground as well as a large field for outdoor activities.

    If you’re looking for a place to play horseshoes, Geneva Park is the place for you. This small neighborhood park has a playground, pavilion, and meandering walking path.

    About the Park

    Even though it’s the smallest park in Orem, Hillcrest Park still has a full sized playground, softball field, and tennis court and it’s just across the street from University Place. Great things come in small packages.

    This park compound is a dream come true for sports lovers. As one of the biggest parks in Orem, Lakeside Park has over 55 acres to play in.

  • Mt. Timpanogos Park

    Mt. Timpanogos Park

    Location: US-189, Orem UT

    About the Park

    Nestled in the beauty of Provo Canyon, Mt. Timpanogos Park is home to the world’s largest storytelling festival, the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. When the festival isn’t in town, the park is great for hiking, walking, and picnicking with friends and family.

    Special Note:

    The Cascade Hosting Center is a delta shaped facility with both the east and west wing being identical. Amenities for each wing include 24’x48’ cement floor, water access in middle of wings, shelving and cupboards in the middle area, 8 garage doors in each wing, access to electrical outlets and overhead lights. There are no tables or chairs available at the Hosting Center. Reservations for this facility require a $700 Fee for Fridays and Saturdays and $500 fee for Mondays through Thursdays, a $200 security deposit and a written agreement.     Nielsen's Grove Park

    Location: 1931 S. Sandhill Road

    About the Park

    Nielsen’s Grove is the oldest park in Utah. The park was started in 1880 by Danish immigrant Jorgen Nielson. The park is the only park with a water feature and contains many design elements found in European castle gardens.

  • Northridge Park

    Northridge Park

    Northridge is an all-around great part with plenty of open space balanced with a playground, tennis courts, and walking paths.

  • Orchard Park

    Orchard Park

    About the Park

    Orchard Park is the only park in Orem with a full sized track for walking, jogging, and running. There is also plenty of space for soccer. Your kids will love the playground at Orchard Park.

  • Palisade Park

    Palisade Park

    About the Park

    Palisade Park is the newest addition to the Orem parks system. Built on the former Cascade Golf Course, this 22-acre beauty is a great place for outdoor activities.

  • Scera Park

    Scera Park

    Location: 600 S. State St.

    About the Park

    Scera Park is the most diverse of all the Orem parks. It is home to the Scera Outdoor Pool, the Scera Shell, as well as the Colonial Heritage Festival. It is also the only park in Orem with two playgrounds and a frisbee golf course.

    In the winter, Sharon Park is often used for tubing and sledding. In the summer, it’s a nice shady retreat for families. The park has a large playground.
