The City of Orem purchased the site of the former Hillcrest Elementary School, located at 650 East 1400 South, with the intention of creating a larger park for the community.

On July 13, 2021 the Orem City Council was presented with the final design proposal. 

In early January 2022, Blu Line Designs was hired to design and lead the project forward. The plan is to use a construction management/general contractor process in building the $12 million park. The CMGC process was also used with the construction of the new Orem Family Fitness Center. This method was selected in order to accelerate construction as we plan to turn dirt later in 2022.

  1. All participants will initially be muted and will not be able to turn on their camera for the duration of the meeting. This is for security purposes. Nobody wants any Zoom-Bombs.
