Nielsen’s Grove Park

Location: 1931 S. Sandhill Road

Nielsen’s Grove is the oldest park in Utah. The park was started in 1880 by Danish immigrant Jorgen Nielsen. The park is the only park with a water feature and contains many design elements found in European castle gardens.

Mt. Timpanogos Park

Mt.Timpanogos Park

Nestled in the beauty of Provo Canyon, Mt. Timpanogos Park was originally built to hold the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Now, this beautiful park is great for hiking, walking, and picnicking with friends and family.

HOSTING CENTER
RESERVATION CALENDAR

The Hosting Center is a delta-shaped facility with both the east and west wings being identical. Amenities for each wing include a 24’x48’ cement floor, water access in the middle of wings, shelving and cupboards in the middle area, 8 garage doors in each wing, and access to electrical outlets and overhead lights.

Things to Note Before You Request!

We have a no amplified noise policy.

 

What does this mean?
Any party that will have amplified noise will be asked to close all garage doors or rent out the entire park.
 
This is mainly due to disturbing patrons that are using the park at the time.

As for 2023, we currently do not have any tables and chairs at the Hosting Center. We ask that you reach out to a third party vendor who can helps with this. 

The capacity of the Hosting Center can fit around 300 people. 

This is without tables and chairs.

Since this building is a government owned facility, we do not have any onsite staff that can walk you through it. 

If you do want to request a tour (serious inquires only) and pay the small fee of $15.00

We have a keypad system that can give 30 minute access for you and your party to see if the Hosting Center would be a good fit for you.

Lakeside Park

Location: 1850 W 400 S

This park is home to all local sports enthusiasts and is one of the biggest parks in Orem. This park has soccer fields, softball fields, a playground and a pavilion that can hold 180 people.

Geneva Park

Location: 260 N 700 W

Geneva Park is home to Utah County’s only Real Salt Lake futsal courts. Bring your friends to enjoy playing this face-paced and action-packed variation of soccer. If that doesn’t sound like your thing, this neighborhood park has a playground, pavilion, and meandering walking path. It also connects with Orem Community Hospital’s property which has an even bigger walking path and a community garden.

Foothill Park

Located in one of Orem’s most beautiful neighborhoods, Foothill Park gives residents a great view of Mt. Timpanogos. It has a large playground as well as a large field for outdoor activities.

Community Park

Location: 581 W 165 S

Just right across the way from the Orem Fitness Center and Mountain View High School, Community Park is a very large park with lots to offer residents. It has 5 baseball fields, 9 tennis courts, and plenty of open space for soccer, football, and outdoor games.

City Center Park

Location: Center Street & 300 E

City Center Park is one of the most versatile parks in the city. It is home to the annual Summerfest celebration as well as The All-Together (all-abilities) Playground. Concerts and other cultural performances are held at the City Center Stage within the park. This is definitely one of the gems of the Orem parks system.

Cherry Hill Park

Location: 240 E 1800 S

This park offers activities for all interests including two maintained and lighted tennis courts. Large grass fields can be used for soccer and baseball or other activities with plenty of space. Clean sidewalks provide a walking path that loops around the park, from the tennis courts to the playground and sitting and gathering areas.

Cascade Park

Location: 950 E 200 N

With a bright playground with swings and slides, Cascade park is one the whole family can enjoy. It’s also a sports fan’s dream with two tennis courts and a basketball court located on the west side. The nice pavilions and large field gives a fantastic view of the Summerfest fireworks.

Bonneville Park

Location: 1450 N 800 W

Located on the Northeast corner of Orem, Bonneville park offers park-goers wide open spaces and a number of amenities. Watch the kids play on the excitingly large playground, relax under the shade of the many mature trees, or enjoy a game of Pickleball on one of the four new Pickleball courts.
